This palette knife painting was inspired by the sunset I saw on Indian Rocks Beach one night. The sky turned the most saturated orange right before the sun went down for the night and it was breathtaking.
There was also a storm a few days prior so the water was active with layers of building waves as they prepared to crash their intense beauty on the shoreline.
Created with gestured palette knife strokes, the movement of the water will make you wonder how it is not flowing right off the canvas.
