Enhance the energy of the inner or outer walls of your home or office building with a mural used to advertise the work you're passionate about, draw people in, or just make them smile when they visit.
Thanks to my background in Graphic Design, I provide a full, life-like mockup of your mural on the actual wall it will go on before we start so you know what the completed art will look like. That gives flexibility to make changes and perfect ideas to ensure absolute satisfaction with your new art.
Southern Bay Bakery
ST. PETE, FL
Isn't it every girl's dream to paint cupcakes and flowers all over the wall? Well Southern Bay Bakery next to Sunken Gardens in St. Pete collaborated with me to do just that! From free handing the sketch, to putting the icing on the cake (literally), I savored each and every gestural stroke that made up the larger than life flowers and treats.
ST. PETE, FL
The Barkett family wanted a vintage feel for the signage on their building. Using the texture on the wall we were able to bring this piece to life!
Into the Cosmos
BOW MAR, COLORADO
This mural was one of two that I did for a family in Colorado. The kids we able to choose their theme for their new rooms and I was ecstatic to go out of our Milky Way Galaxy for this one! What an opportunity to help foster such curiosity for a young person's childhood with a reminder of how amazing our world truly is. These stars, galaxies and constellations came to life on this bedroom wall. With a unique style of rolling and brush work, the texture of space is felt throughout the room.
BOW MAR, COLORADO
16'x 10' and 8'x 10'
This was the second of the kids' murals in the house in Colorado. This young lady wanted the movement of abstract watercolor along two of her bedroom walls. I was able to bring together all of the aspects she wanted to see while keeping it very loose. Needless to say, both children will be enjoying their unique pieces throughout their adolesence!
Roof Top Red Rocks
2.5' x 18'
This mural lives on a rooftop in Denver but captures all the beauty of Red Rocks in Morrison. Well known house music producer, Freddy Rule, commissioned this on my last trip to Colorado. Growing up with Red Rocks in my back yard, the amphitheater has been a stage for more than just concerts for me. I have a connection with the magic that lives here and it felt like I could paint this scene straight from memory.
No Matter Where You Are From, We're Glad You're Our Neighbor.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL
This was a particularly fun mural because Dr. Runyon, whose buildling this art resides, had taken numerous images of the most magnificent underwater life during his time diving all over the world. We took these images and created a compilation of elements including a sailboat giving ode to his sons, one who is gay and the other who is an engineer. Complete with the phrase "No matter where you are from, we're glad you're our neighbor" across the top in Arabic, English and Spanish.
Life in the Water
ST. PETERSBURG, FL
22' x 8'
This mural was painted on the side of a garage that shared space with a back yard - giving the patio of the yard a big blank canvas to look at. Instead, I painted some beautiful sea animals and vibrant coral on the wall to completely change the energy into a gorgeous patio view.
A Light Dusting
12' x 7.5'
This mural resides in the building of Red Rock Recovery Center in Lakewood, Colorado and illustrates the view from Arrowhead Golf Course in Roxborough, Colorado. White snow on such vibrant colors gives this space such a warm and welcoming feeling for all who visit. The beauty of a light dusting of snow will always amaze me.
Maroon Bells Reflection
15' x 11'
This mural was commissioned in an effort to give beauty and energy to a basement of a new home in Loveland, Colorado. It depicts the colorful essence of Colorado through vibrant and calming shades of the colors created by sunrise over the Maroon Bells mountains in Gunnison, CO.
Not Only Aliens
ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO
30' x 15'
This mural was placed on the exterior of the building that houses Black Betty, BBQ and The Hi-Q Venue in Roswell, NM. This mural was particularly fun from birth to completion because each element was designed in Photoshop before creating the final compilation of elements to be painted. We started with each individual element my client wanted in the finished mural including El Capitan mountain, a vintage rusty truck, a gas pump, the Black Betty and HI-Q Venue logos and of course, an alien. From there we spent about two months playing with different orientations of each element until we came to the perfect final image.
Aqua Vista Octapus
70' x 6'
This mural was one of those that made me pinch myself that this is what I do for "work". It lives on a sea wall of a private vacation home on the island of Exuma in the Bahamas. In order to capture the elements for this mural, I went snorkeling around the island of Exuma and took footage with my GoPro of the fish and coral that I saw as I explored. I then took stills from the video I captured and incorporated the sea animals I saw in the mural to create a truly authentic Bohemian experience for the future visitors of the beach house. The whole mural includes an octapus, nurse shark, coral and many local fish native to the area.
